I’ve had this on my list for awhile, but kept putting it off… I’m glad I finally got around to it, as I learned a few things.
1) the 10-24 vignettes quite a bit wide open at 10mm
2) compositionally-speaking, super-wide angle photographs work better when there’s something of interest in the foreground, and if that something leads out into the distance, it’s best to put it in the corner
3) I can’t crouch low enough to get out of the way of the angle of view (~110° diagonal field of view on the D7000’s 1.5x crop)
This little project was fun, and I’ve put it back on the list to have another go before year-end. Good times.
