Kodak Porta is a beautiful film stock. MashaAllah.
This is the first roll I’ve shot with it, and I’m thankful to have 2 more rolls of 160 and 3 rolls of 400 sitting in the cooler right now. Alhamdulillah.
This first, small group of pictures doesn’t quite do it justice. But just wait: there’s more to come.
There was just one problem… this was the worst curl I’ve encountered in any film ever before. It had me alternating between cursing and begging forgiveness for cursing for over an hour just to feed 38 shots through the Scan-O-Matic 7000 (mk 2).
That had no desire to stay in the negative holder. It was such a pain, you won’t even believe it.
Alhamdulillah, I got the roll scanned, and it came out beautifully. But it makes me want to invest in a decent flatbed and some ANR glass…
