Has it been 15 years already?
Some fun memories of a fun night with some fun people… (with apologies for any awkward expressions captured or any hair/clothing styles that might be depicted and that you might prefer to be lost to the passage of time and forgotten)
As was (I think) the custom back then, there were disposable cameras on the tables for guests to take pictures during the event and then leave for the bride and groom to process and enjoy.
And as was my custom, I shot 1/4 or 1/3 of the roll during and after the reception, then took it home with me to document my burgeoning painting practice or to drag around for a few years. I did this a few times, and so I doubt the happy couple ever got to see the pictures…
Apologies!
Ben & Kristi: if you’re reading this, drop me a line and I’ll be happy to send you digital copies of these recent scans or even the original 4×6’s from the photo lab if you want them.
And if anyone remember’s Buddy’s girlfriend/wife’s name, please remind me: I’ve completely forgotten.
Stay tuned… I might just post the pictures from my art-production time before the BA in Painting (and Philosophy) and the MA in Art History & Criticism (and Cultural Studies) sorta ruined it for me until I picked up that iPhone 4 and started having so much fun making pictures. There were a couple of gems there, or so I claim.
