Better late than never, I guess…
I’m way behind in sharing pictures, but at least I’m getting a chance to make sure I have the processing pretty close and that I really want to show them…
This year, we planted some yellow beans, tomatoes, bitter melon, and some kind of gourd. The beans made the first appearance, the bitter melon never sprouted, we’ve not yet picked any gourds as we’re not sure when they’re done, and the tomatoes were disappointing (loads of yellow pear tomatoes, one or two of another variety, and only 3 or 4 celebrities out of 2 plants). I’m not sure what happened, but I have an idea that the soil is a bit worn out after 2 years and in need of some rejuvenation.
Something to work on in the fall and winter, InshaAllah.
