Almost like a John Chamberlain sculpture or something.
I needed to finish off a roll of JCH Street Pan one day, so I pulled the C.L.A.M. out and started playing around with off camera flash and macro lenses…
PARTY.
I stumbled upon Marilyn Minter’s work some months ago, and was struck by the layers she’s making, the water on glass with bodies behind, and so I built the C.L.A.M. to try and emulate something of her process… Earliest attempts didn’t really work, and it’s been sitting in a corner, more or less forgotten ever since.
With some vision, I’m sure I could do more with it. I’ve mentioned that many times before. I’m working on something that may help, but I don’t want to say anything about it yet, lest I jinx it.
That said, there are a couple of these I really like, especially this, like something out of a futuristic graphic novel or something.
