After several months of patience (and forgetting), the first signs of progress tangible to those of us a third of the way around the world have arrived! I’m looking forward to putting a roll through and see what happens…

I was a backer of Ferrania’s Kickstarter, and I’ve had a t-shirt for a couple of years, but this is the first bit of actual photography gear to come out of the refurbished factory and good people at Film Ferrania. I’m excited!
As you can see, I immediately loaded a roll into the Nikon FE and strapped on the Nikkor 50mm f/1.2. Now to see if I can find some pictures worthy of this (what I hope is) great film.

Apologies for the week of unboxings. I’m having a bit of trouble with the website, and will probably take a few weeks to revamp things and try to come back strong. Ramadan starts tomorrow night, with fasting commencing from Saturday the 27th, InshaAllah. May Allah make it easy on us and grant us forgiveness and help us to remember Him, give thanks to Him and worship Him in the best possible manner throughout our lives, and even more so in the blessed month of Ramadan, ameen.
