I got lost in Cariari one evening, walking around before Maghrib and dinnertime. Cariari is a really swanky section of Heredia, with all these mid-Century Modern homes and classic cars. Many or most of the houses were for sale when I was there, and I had a brief fantasy about buying one and moving down there… It’s a beautiful place, with beautiful people, and the company I work for has some major operations there. But I’m probably wound a bit too tight, and definitely way too gringo for such a groovy place.
Oh well, dreaming is free.
