Uthman bin Affan heard the Prophet, peace be upon him, say
مَنْ بَنَى لِلَّهِ مَسْجِدًا بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ مِثْلَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
Whoever builds a Masjid for (the sake of) Allah, then Allah will build a similar house for him in Paradise.
It’s probably a bit late for this—the Islamic Center of Irving had its first fundraising of the year a couple of days ago. Oh well. May Allah accept from me nonetheless and from everyone who helped to build and helps to maintain ICI, and all the other masajid around the world.
