Springtime in Texas is lovely and brief. We might get 2 weeks of it, if we’re lucky. Blink, and it’s gone, summer has arrived, and it’s going to be hot for 5 or 6 months.
The trees that had these pretty blooms (an Asian pear and a I have no idea) are all fully leafed out now. There are pears growing happily on the pear tree—yum—and the I-have-no-idea is chock full of chirping birds, seemingly thrilled a the camouflage.
Alhamdulillah, without the heat and light of summer, the blooms put out in the springtime wouldn’t amount to anything, so it’s a win for everyone, though I wish the Spring would last a bit longer.
At least the roses will continue to bloom for most of the summer.
Allahu Akbar.
