Muslims, many of us anyway, pray 5 times a day. Three prayers are of 4 units, one is of 3 units, and one is of 1 unit. As part of each unit, we recite the Fatiha, the first Surah of the Quran. Near the end of Surah al Fatiha, after we glorify Allah, we ask Him, subhanahu wa ta’ala, for guidance
اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ
Guide us to the straight path –
صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
