On day 2 of our (too brief) Atlanta Vacation, my darling, adorable wife and I visited the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and Park, and had a frosted orange at the Varsity (pro tip: get a small… the medium is too much dreamsicle all at once).
I was interested to see President Carter’s Argus rangefinder… And to sit in the Ebenezer Baptist Church and hear Dr. King’s speech to the Memphis Sanitation workers is a humbling and moving experience. May Allah guide us to better, Ameen.
