As mentioned previously, I recently acquired a Nikkor 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 D, my first auto-focus, close-focus, telephoto zoom lens.
New Tools/Toys
So in response to my gear lust (see here), and sort of in anticipation of future transition to “full frame” (or acquisition of a F4 or F100), I researched and purchased a couple of old lenses.

don’t look too close…
…the main point of interest isn’t in focus. That’s one of the things I face by continuing to use reversed lenses (and concomitant rock-back-and-forth-type manual focus) and wide apertures. Alhamdulillah, I have some fun gear.
