Today, I’m thankful for solidity. Flexibility has it’s place, for sure, but sometimes we need something to fix to, some firmness, certainty, some hard and fast rules.
Neighbors
Today, I’m thankful for my neighbors: invisible and wonderfully generous; young and fun, old and curmudgeonly; Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Jew, Sikh, Buddhist, Atheist, and whatever. May Allah make the trial of having me for a neighbor easy on them all, Ameen.
Flexibility
Today, I’m thankful for flexibility. Rigidity has its place, of course, and I’m grateful for it too, but today, it’s flexibility.
